Tunnel Rat (Night Force) Comments

Larry Hama and G.I. Joe helped dig Marvel out of a financial ditch in the '80s and helped jump-start some other great Marvel comic lines and characters.

This is a solid figure …great character..such nostalgia with the o-ring…I have both…love the first but the NF version is great because it gives you the choice to have the face sculpt with or w/o the face paint. Larry Hama really is the god of GI Joe…so much that was special was due to him…great writer…really, probably inspired me to be a writer myself, along with some of the other creative greats like Lucas and Spielberg, etc…

And he did the the file cards for the original ARAH run. He wrote some of the Venom stuff, too.

If I'm not mistaken, Tunnel Rat is also representative of his creator, Larry Hama, who did two tours of duty in Vietnam before he did the original Marvel G.I.Joe comics run.

Pleasantly surprised with this figure. I bought it on sale awhile back and kept it for a background character or something. Recently opened it. Drop down legs, ab crunch and egg cup waist. Pinless. Accessories galore. Great figure.
