The Wolverine figure in this 2-pack is awesome! Not only does it look great, but it also has incredible articulation. But the Silver Samurai is HORRIBLE! He's so bad I actually put him back in the package, and haven't touched him again since!

The 80th Anniversary Wolverine works perfectly with my collection so I'm happy with it and I have the Wendigo BAF version that I'm trying to part with sans BAF piece.

I still have Love Triangle. If I could find a 97 Jean? I might consider selling mine lol. But I kind of like the jacket on Cyclops. im still hoping they re-release that Beast with lab Coat (I repainted a gray beast lol.)

Happy with my retro card Silver Samurai because when I saw it at Best Buy I just had to have it even though X-Men really aren't my thing aside from certain villains. Just sold off my "Love Triangle" set because another collector wanted it more but I agree that this Wolverine is top notch and will fit in well with collections.

One of the better 2 packs in this wave. Samurai is a bit of a dud. But isn't that the story with most two packs. Buy two figures; one of which you may not want to get one you do? Maybe thats a bit harsh because I didn't have a Silver Samurai. He's fine. But I really wish Hasbro would "paint" these silver figures. You have a lot of marbling in the plastic. The First Steps Surfer suffered from this too. The upcoming retro card surfer is painted and he looks fantastic. I can't imagine it would have added much to the cost.

Wolverine is obviously the star of this two pack and makes up for Samurai. I'd say that Wolverine would almost be worth that price alone. All new articulation that lets him really get that crouch down low. Love the aesthetic and just how beefed up he looks. The stylized boots and fins? Chef's kiss. And you totally can put unmasked heads on him and they don't look out of place.

With the arrival of this two pack, I have managed to secure all of the Marvel vs Capcom wave that I wanted to pick up. I am really liking this set. It’s another situation for me like the Cap/Venom pack: I bought it for one character, Wolverine, and the other ended up being way cooler than I expected (Silver Samurai). He’s a cool figure and I think he looks pretty neat. To be honest, I’m easy to please with my figures and try to find something positive about all of them (that doesn’t work all the time lol).

The Wolverine is really damn sweet though and the size change works very well, especially the bigger biceps. I’ll have some more thoughts once I’ve messed with him more.

I have these guys on the way. I’m really curious to see how much Wolverine stands out from the ones currently in my collection.

It probably the only set besides gorath from the wave that im getting. Im in need of a silver samurai and the new wolverine body is reminiscent of the old mid 90s toybiz figures when they started making the heroes bulky like a rob liefeld drawing. So great.

Not interested in either one of these figures but understand completely their appeal. Good luck to fellow collectors wanting this set because I think both are a great option for collection building.
