Well, @Mysteriomaximus84... we got our Cardiac and Swarm may not be too far off... I think Hasbro is definitely hearing the calls so I will take this time to mention Will O the Wisp, Stegron, Man Mountain Marko, Vermin, Carrion, the Lobo Brothers, Styx and Stone, Big Wheel, Vermin, the Enforcers, Gibbon, Iguana... just a few off the top of my head. And I mentioned these because I believe the tooling exists to create almost ALL of them... Big Wheel might be a taller order... :)

I've been pretty loud about being one of the ones who wanted the ASM version, not so much the cosmic version. But I always try to emphasize that this is, by no means, a bad figure. He's very nice; it's just far from my preference. I'm honestly not even especially familiar with the cosmic Manwolf, only very vaguely. I have the old Toybiz Man-Wolf, and even for the time, he wasn't great due to the action gimmick making the head really funky, but he was at least fun. When I think Manwolf, I think Spider-Man. And when I think of Spider-Man's villain, Man-Wolf, I think of the yellow with green piping costume. A chunk of this could be repurposed for the ASM Manwolf, but he'll still need a new torso, lower legs, feet, and forearms. One downside to this figure that I haven't mentioned is, for me anyway, that he doesn't especially include "claw" hands. There's one that's in fairly close proximity, but when I think of claw-slashing visuals, none of these hands are especially doing it for me. So if they do indeed get a classic Man-Wolf out of this, I'm hoping we get some hands with fingers more splayed out in a slashing-like way.

I think this figure will prompt that because now it's a matter of a repaint and some slight tooling alterations that are probably already in place.

I know a lot of people wanted the other version. And I hope we do see him someday.

The only one of the lot that I wanted and scored. But I hope they revisit this character on a different scope and make improvements along the way.

Man Wolf is maybe the best figure in the entire wave in my opinion. The MJ figure still sadly uses that old female buck. The Agent Anti Venom is a repaint. So Man Wolf I feel offers considerably more bang for your buck.

His sculpt is solid and I love the mouth articulation. (as others noted, his jaw can come loose). I was pleasantly surprised that they made his shoulder pauldrons freely floating so you can rotate them independently of his shoulder. the sword and bow are reused but the quiver I believe is new? His articulation is pretty solid. He can look up better than most Spider-Man figures thanks to a long neck peg which is cleverly concealed by his neck fluff. If I had one criticism? It would be he could do with a bit of a wash.

As is the case with any of these. You can try to sell the card to recoup some of the cost. The Man Wolf Promo on TCG player is $23.50. So you can recoup about half the cost. At $20? Man Wolf is event better in terms of value.

Had the same experience. Mine seemed somewhat misaligned, so I tried to bend it back into place, and it popped right out. Fortunately, it does pop right back in, and I did manage to align the jawline better...yeah, watch you don't lose it his lower jaw, and he perpetually looks like he has a terrible smoking habit, but, hey, he survived cancer!

Be careful with his lower jaw. Mine fell off…and while it wasn’t hard at all to put back on, it’s kinda small so probably easy to lose.

Was waiting on my doorstep when I got home from out of town yesterday. Solid figure but I'm thinking it's more of a placeholder until some of the tooling gets rearranged.

They may have touched a little bit on Swarm (Hive) in the "Agents of S.H.I.E.LD." but I think that might have been a soft easter egg comparable to Absorbing Man's appearance in the show. Swarm appears on the "List of Spider-Man Villains" Wikipedia page illustration which is a major part of my collection goal. I'm curious, too, as to more information on Swarm from fellow collectors as Swarm is one of the remaining characters on said illustration that I lack in my collection... the others being Vermin, Scarecrow and Will O' The Wisp. And there are many other characters not on that illustration that I'm waiting for to be released. Cardiac and Carrion would be high in demand for me, as well.

This guy is a really nice figure. Body sculpt looks cool, the paint application is nice, the jaw moves up and down and it comes with a good set of accessories. $40 bucks is a bit up there though….but I have not so great luck with finding stuff in the wild so he was a no brainer pick up for me.

Ohhhh Cardiac would be really cool! I remember first seeing back in the day in Spidey comics when I was a kid and always thought he had the coolest costume. He would make an excellent legend for sure! Not too familiar with Swarm however.

This will do... for now. And I'm with you on Swarm and Cardiac.

So it's a nice figure, one I preordered myself, but as a diehard Spider-Man fan...I feel there's a misstep here. Going with the cosmic version of this guy...wasn't really what I think most people meant when they mentioned they wanted Man-Wolf. So I couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed when this was revealed and it...wasn't...the ASM version of this character. Now that the head does exist, though, I'm hoping we'll see him show up in a Retro Spidey wave at some point, alongside roles like Swarm and Cardiac.

Got my pre-order in and I hope Hasbro revisits this character soon and without the Robin Hood get-up. Checks off a box for my collection goals and looks pretty decent with a nice accessories lot. A little pricey, though...
