Yeah, I can do without the extra head sculpt.

If you don't have Scorpion, then get the new one but I think this one works just as well if you do. Same mold, same hands; the only difference is new alternate head sculpt, shade of green, and tail design (but still attached the same way as the last two).

During my digging through my pretty substantial collection, l couldn't help but notice quite a few figures l love...that seem to get pretty overlooked. So l've been wanting to go back through and send some love their way. For my money, Scorpion is one of those niche in between known and unknown roles. Every Spidey fan has felt this foes pinchers at least once...but does the average street Joe know Gargan? Well, l say they should! He's a ridiculously fun, long running villain...and this figure doesn't disappoint. While reissued as a Retro, this more classic comic version is my preference. Outside of deco, they're effectively the same figure, though. The stand out is the obvious tail, but what photos don't do justice to is just how substantial this thing really is. It's HUGE! You really don't know until you have one in hand. The bendy wire makes this arachnid fiercely posable. Needless to say, l've been stung. Great figure!

Oh. I thought it was only the retro. In that case this is a pretty good figure.

Is this tail still bendy wire?

I'm going to favor more comic accurate figures in most cases.

I know something is amiss regarding the face paint but I still like this version over the retro card version.
