Absorbing Man Comments

So...I've finally received Absorbing Man. He's a decent figure, but much like many in this wave (which now that I have in hand, I'm disappointed by overall), there's a real Achilles' heel here that kind of scrubs any joy I had. It's not that I dislike the figure; he's nice enough. Simply put, he's just incomplete. In 2026, with 2026 prices, how do you make an Absorbing Man who even comes with an alt. head...and not have a single "absorbed" alt. part? How is that possible? It's sincerely baffling and, as a result, makes the figure feel kind of bland.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>So what's the play here? Release him later with a different deco? Pack in an alt. part or head later with something else? ...this just seems like a glaring oversight that should have been corrected before it ever even made it into production.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>Because, truth is, the only thing he's absorbed...is my money.&nbsp;</div>

My thoughts on that? Pulse needs to find a better shipping company. I'm so concerned about my Mephisto pre-order, now...

They took awhile to ship my muse/bullseye set too. I thought it had another glitch where it said it was in stock but really wasnt.&nbsp;

This is a very solid Absorbing Man figure that I'm glad to add to my collection. And, apparently, there are available options to make this figure even better so I'd love to see my fellow collectors show me the way (and some have already done so gloriously) to get me over the fact that I whiffed on piecing the BAF. Cheers!

I should be getting this dude for Father’s Day. I’m bummed that he doesn’t have any absorbing accessories, but I am more than happy to add another Hulk rogue to my collection. But seriously, what the hell is up with no absorbing effects? He’s a dude with a ball and chain and that’s it. I’ll have to see if I can print some extra arms or something. With that said, from the pictures I’ve seen the head sculpt looks pretty good too.&nbsp;

Yeah I think that will be the factor that keeps this one from being the definitive version over the BAF.&nbsp;

I'm definitely picking this up, but it's ridiculous that he doesn't come with at least one absorbing effect

Finally shipped yesterday after Pulse took my money last week.

I think I'm going to try and customize one of his hands to be metal or stone or something&nbsp;

I never completely pieced the BAF so this was a pre-order must and it notches another off the ComicVine list. So far in 2026 with Mephisto and Grizzly waiting in the wings and Cardiac, Hypno-Hustler,&nbsp; and Owl already on the shelves, that's five figures from the aforementioned list that move me closer to my goal. Come on, Stegron, Carrion, Vermin, Will o The Wisp, Scarecrow, and Swarm!
