There's never been a more bittersweet figure for me than this Daredevil.<div><br></div><div>Daredevil is my boy, my go-to. I rep. this guy back in the early 90s and stood by him when everyone mocked me, saying, "You like the blind guy!?" I knew, and deep down I knew they'd learn how awesome this character was someday. They'd see...</div><div><br></div><div>...oh, the irony of that comment. </div><div><br></div><div>But alas, here we are in 2026, and still, to this day, Legends hasn't gotten a definitive classic Daredevil. Still he's treated like a second stringer while Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Wolverine are on their umpteenth iterations. I'm beginning to think it's intentional because, at this rate, how's that even possible? I'll give this figure one thing: it's the closest yet. There's no denying it's a solid figure, great even, but for the third time in a row, they've botched the deco. Now, I get it. Some of these Secret Wars figures are actually, technically, tributes to the old Toybiz 80s line and the specific designs of those figures. I fully understand this fact, but it's no less aggravating when you've delivered one insanely rare Daredevil who looks like he's wearing onesie pajamas (ML 3-Pack), another who looks like he fell into an inkwell (ML Spider-Man Animated 2-Pack), and now this version that's never actually appeared in a comic book. What will it take to finally deliver a comic-inspired two-tone red daredevil with different-colored red boots, gloves, a belt, and a logo? Seriously...I'd like to know before I retire, because at this rate...</div><div><br></div><div>It's not even that the deco is that bad; it's this constant limbo of "so close to perfection, but not quite there" that this character seems perpetually stuck in. The body is perfect, the head sculpt is a beauty, and the radar effect is rad...it's just that darn deco that irks me. Deliver the deco we've demanded for ages now; just do it already. Then put it all together with a billy club that has a detachable bendy cord and some alt. heads (stoic, screaming, unmasked, and battle-damaged), more alt. hands, some ricochet effects, and some added neck and toe articulation...and you've got a winner. Basically, Maximum Daredevil. </div><div><br></div><div>End of the day, it's still a worthy pick-up and great figure...but know what'll be even better? This released with some slight tweaks, added accessories, and a freaking classic comic red deco already. </div><div> </div>

Idk whether to wait for this or get the mafex/ct toys version. My favorite will always be the cel shaded version

Would you be able to put the cable from MCU Daredevil into these billy clubs?

I like you can finally see the DDs on his chest...pause! 😆 And he comes with his sonar effect! Just waiting on a new Electra on that new buck, the white costume Electra.

I still don't have a Daredevil at all, so I'm really glad we're getting this guy.

My most wanted from Secret Wars has been Doc Ock, the original was one of my favorites as a kid. But DD was a close second in anticipation, and I'm loving the aesthetic

Im glad I held back on getting the mafex daredevil. This looks great. I have the cel shaded from the spiderman vhs 2 pack, but that's never going to be opened.

As much as I want and need a classic Daredevil, I'm going to put this in the "... if I see it in the wild" category, too. May regret it later but that's my current stance.
