I have to agree. Throwing on the Secret Wars packaging certainly ups the ante and I would have to state that it makes for a more compelling addition to a collection as it still upholds the retro-card aspect. Great figure, regardless...

This is my favorite black-suited Spidey, I do think the animated one is superior (using the RYV body), but I don't like figures with lightning effects, so this is my favorite atm.<br>

I have the animated blacksuit on the renew your vows body which is great because of the toe articulation. But the carnage tax wasnt it. I should've waited for the secret wars.

I prefer the secret wars version.

Not sure why I whiffed on this while it was in regular circulation as it fit my collection tendencies perfectly. But with all the black suit Spider-Man figures I already had and the ones that have been released since, I'm not second-guessing my decision. And I'm absolutely sure there will be plenty of black-suited Spideys coming down the pipe as the years go by. We've already had three in 2025 alone and I'm still waiting on my emo-Tobey version to arrive.
