Your insight is always appreciated. I won't even ask whom your questionable retailer was because I'm sure it was disappointing to say the least... welcome to our world! I'm having a particular issue with a certain retailer right now and I'd like to think that they already know who they are...😁

@Hindsite I don’t have either this or the retro card in my collection. I didn’t go for this because I thought the body was too skinny for the electro in my mind, and I prefer just yellow and green, so I wasn’t a fan of the black. This is better than the retro card in that it is more accessible, though. I screwed up getting the retro card because of a poor choice in retailer for pre-order and when I realized I would never receive it, it was going for almost triple on after-market. Womp womp. I am actually using the ridiculously tall Marvel Select Electro in my display as of now, just hoping someday I get a sweet deal on a loose retro card.

Do you reckon this (not in my collection) version is better than the retro card? The extra head sculpt leads me to believe that it is but, as I mentioned in the Spider-Man 2 version figure comment, I'm happy with it even though the the boots are a little dodgy.
