  1. Galadriel: “And into this Ring, Sauron poured his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all life. One Ring to rule them all. A last alliance of Men and Elves marched against the armies of Mordor, and on the slopes of Mount Doom they fought for the freedom of Middle-Earth. It was in this moment that the creature Carnage appeared from a portal of wizard-craft unknown to any of Middle Earth.”

  2. Galadriel: “Carnage joined the fray against Sauron, for he was drawn to The One Ring. Sauron, the enemy of the free-peoples of Middle-Earth, was defeated. And—“

  3. Carnage: “Ok, lady, time to take a hike. There’s a new honcho in charge here, and this “One Ring to Rule Them All” is exactly what the Doctor ordered. Hello, My Precious!!!”

  4. And with the combined powers of the Sorcerer Supreme and the One Ring, Carnage took control of all the Symbiotes of all the Multiverse. The Symbiotes bowed to their new master without hesitation.

  5. When Carnage’s army of Symbiotes arrived in New York, Spider-Man, Gwen, and Miles were clearly overmatched by the army of Symbiotes controlled by Carnage. Spider-Man’s attempts to remove the Ring were of no avail, for Carnage had permanently bonded with the Ring, as he had his human host, Cletus Cassidy. Spider-Man shouted, “If we can’t get the Ring off his finger, then we are going to need help from a few professionals I know in a neighboring universe. C’mon! We’re doing a multiverse team-up of our own!” Gwen replied, “Who you gonna call?”

Cue the Music!!!

  1. At the Firehouse, Spider-Man explains to the Ghostbusters: “Carnage has attained unstoppable powers thanks to bonding with the One Ring, which contains the life-force of the greatest evil spirit in the Middle Earth-verse, Sauron.” Egon: “Ray and I have studied Sauron extensively in the tomes of Tolkien. Sauron is a spirit not-dissimilar from the vapors, entities, and slimers that we trap. I think we can help!”

  2. Carnage and his army appear through a Marvel Sparkle Circle (TM) and attack our heroes at the firehouse.

  3. But our heroes don’t let the other symbiotes distract them and quickly zero in on Carnage. Venkman rallies the team: “Let’s cross the streams! It’s never failed us before, even though Egon keeps saying it will kill us all!” Spider-Man: “We’ve got streams too! Let’s do this!” While Spider-Man and Gwen webbed up Carnage, the Ghostbusters blasted at Carnage with their proton packs. Miles slid the trap underneath the suspended Carnage and FWOOSH Carnage was sucked into the trap.

  4. The sizzling trap containing Carnage and The One Ring was emptied into the Ecto Containment Grid. Spider-Man: “Thanks for the assist, Ghostbusters! Couldn’t have done it without you!” Venkman: “Yeah, yeah, sure, sure. Let’s talk seriously. Now, for the entrapment, we're gonna have to ask you for four big ones, four thousand dollars for that. But we are having a special this week on proton charging, and storage of the beast, and that's only gonna come to one thousand dollars, fortunately.” Spider-Man: “Five thousand dollars?! Miles, you have money, right? I’m not very liquid right now…”
