After a horrible and deadly battle, the psychotic symbiote Carnage defeated many of Earth's heroes, including Captain America, Iron Man, and Invisible Woman. Targeting the Scarlet Witch, Carnage planned to devour her power and unlock the secrets of the multiverse. He succeeded.
Traversing the multiverse, Carnage would ambush heroes and villains by grouping them in sudden-death matches against him. One such instance included the likes of Naruto, Darth Vader, M3GAN, Freddy Fazbear, and Casey Jones. Many would try to defeat him. None would succeed.
Back in the 616 Dimension, Mr. Fantastic and Spider-Man devised a plan to find and defeat Carnage. After some time, they were able to open a portal to a neighboring reality. The heroes met face-to-face with a hero who goes by the name of Batman.
Together, they developed a new team of heroes, which consisted of Superman and Wonder Woman. The might of the five heroes overmatched Carnage's power, with Spider-Man delivering the final blow.
