Mazinger Z New Color Ver.

About this Figure

The legendary super robot returns in a new black and white look! Created by Go Nagai in 1972, "Mazinger Z" is a landmark of Japanese pop culture that started the giant robot genre. The origin of all super robots, still remembered as the "Castle of Iron", returns to Amazing Yamaguchi in a special black and white color. Sculpted by Katsuhisa Yamaguchi, the figure has many gimmicks: for example, the Breast Fire panel on the chest moves so the arms can thrust straight forward. Articulation designed around the "sink-in" movement of a human figure allows powerful action poses, while a dedicated structure hides the joints to keep the hard feel of a robot toy. Add the jet effect to a detached arm to show a Rocket Punch in flight. Interchangeable parts also recreate the Jet Scrander, the Iron Cutter and the Drill Missiles. The monotone color brings out the strong body line that only Amazing Yamaguchi can give. Enjoy the power and presence of a giant robot, together with a large set of option parts. ©Go Nagai/Dynamic Planning
