This figure rocks. Yes, it is more flatly painted in an animated style, but some of that can be addressed with lighting. The guns are finally a perfect Cable size. Not too small, not too big, but still hefty. I may play around with head swaps but I think this works fine in a comic group.

So i was iffy about this cable. From reviews I thought maybe it's too animated and the colors are too bright. But I got it because I had an Amazon gift card so I didnt pay full price. In hand I was pleasantly surprised. The colors are not bright at all and it can pass for a comic version possibly with a new headsculpt.
