I'm on the fence with Spider-Venom and black-suited six arm Spidey. A rat's given for 2099.

In my opinion, probably the perfect Spider-Man figure to collect if you didn't already have one (especially for new collectors). The accessories alone will probably stand the test of time for collectors but for those of us that already have plenty of Spideys on hand? I don't know. What I do know is that I don't need more Spider-Man figures in my collection but I already reckon that it's a moot point especially if they're connected with BAFs. Now where's our Stegron, Will O The Wisp, Carrion and Vermin figures, Hasbro? :)

Maximum Spidey initially saw a lot of flak for it's price tag. Some maintain it's overpriced at $50. But it seems like Max Spidey weathered the criticisms of price because he is a solid figure. There are things I feel that could have been better. Some of the web effects and accessories could have been improved. Including a flight stand with him would have gone a long way too. Those weblines are too flimsy to serve any real practical purpose imo. Even for photography. He has a good complement of hands.

Mine had some twisted deco on his head and some of the tampo on his shoulder was missing. I had to paint and redraw the weblines myself with a gundam marker. But Maximum Spidey shows what I feel is it's strength. It is offering the kind of and number of accessories you would expect to find in an import figure...at a cheaper price. Yes $50 is expensive for a figure. But it's still cheaper than say $90-$120 for a Mafex or SHF.
