<div>I’d be remiss if l didn’t review my namesake. I’ve been swimming in Mysterio’s fishbowl since l was 8 years old, captivated by this showman’s flair for the theatrical. Being someone who’s worked on films like The Dark Knight Rises and Jack Reacher and has a deep passion for filmmaking…the concept of what boils down to a charlatan movie special effects expert captivated me as much as his illusions. There’s just something about a guy brave enough to wear that outfit that you’ve got to admire. Time has been good to Beck. When once l was mocked for liking 'ole bubble head more than the more typical 90s fair of Venom or Carnage …now it seems people see the potential l always recognize. There’s something incredibly dangerous and intelligent within the art of trickery…so much so that you can defeat foes far beyond your capacity. All it takes is a little imagination. And imagination is what went into this figure. He’s easily the best Mysterio ever made, on par with the Retro release, ultimately only a repaint. Between the textured body suit and semi-trans dome, they went the extra mile. But the inclusion of the subtle macabre illusion effect head just beneath the helmet is icing on the cake. They’ve taken one of the most creatively bonkers, stand out wacky fun costume design characters and magically transitioned him from page to plastic beautifully. Each and every variant of Mysterio is a pleasure for the eyes, something he himself would be proud of.</div>

I had an exchange with another fellow collector on here and it was stated that it may have been a goof rather than a true variant. Research seemed to lean towards the goof persuasion even though that could certainly be inaccurate.

How do I choose the variant on my profile

Another wave I regret not pre-ordering but I started off only wanting Lasher. By the time I came around Mysterio, Spider-Punk and Spider-Man Noir were only available on the aftermarket at ridiculously inflated prices. Thankfully I now have two Walmart exclusive Lizard figures which significantly helps the medicine go down after whiffing on this wave.
