Once, again, this is one of the greatest two-packs Marvel Legends has ever released and while there have been some close runners-up since, I don't think they match up with this set's heft, star power, and legacy. I consider myself very fortunate to have this set in my collection.

So in the Marvel universe, most major heroes and villains have crossed over at least at one time or another. Juggernaut is predominately known as an X-Men villain; that's his default, but he's faced Spider-Man a few times. Perhaps his most famous Spider-Man confrontation was in ASM #229-230 in the story called "Nothing Can Stop The Juggernaut," written by Roger Stern and drawn by John Romita Jr. It's a fantastic two-parter, a David vs. Goliath-type story where, ultimately, Peter...well...just can't stop him. He tries and tries and tries, and just nothing works. And Juggernaut keeps marching closer and closer and closer toward his goal—kidnapping Madame Web. Read it to find out what happens. It's a classic.

I don't know, either, and that ComicVine list seems to really dig underneath the rocks when it comes to pinging characters as Spider-Man villains. Alas, I still think the list is a great tool for building a custom collection alongside the Wikipedia Spider-Man villains list. From the Wikipedia illustration the only characters missing are Scarecrow, Carrion, Vermin, Swarm, and Will O' The Wisp so at least it serves as a relatively attainable goal even though the page also lists several other characters NOT in the illustration.

I dont know how often spidey has faced off with juggy but I have an issue of spiderman written by mcfalane that has them facing off at the world trade center and a team up with xforce. It's pretty wild.

Yeah, bruv! So much easier for me to say. But I'm so glad I jumped on this set when I did because I actually pre-ordered it and canceled the pre-order when I found it in the wild. Unbeknownst to me at the time, Juggernaut popped up on the ComicVine Spider-Man villains list so I kind of stumbled upon this addition to my collection parameters and it's worked out perfectly. I actually opened this set up while I was driving and I had never done that before. I was just so impressed and, to me, this is one of the best Marvel Legends two-packs ever released. And, honestly, as bad ass as Colossus is, I could give two squirts less about him...
