I no longer have an emulator otherwise these games would be in my library. I fell off the Capcom fighting games after Mortal Kombat and then completely off with Tekken which still remains my favorite series of the lot. Insight, I started collecting Marvel Legends in 2017 so much of my memory of Marvel past is cloudy at best. At first I went straight up for Symbiote-related figures and then I went turbo with figures that I just favored from sight, alone... and then I got swayed by BAFs no matter my connection. Long story short, I've managed to whittle down my collection tendencies to Spider-Man and friends and what I consider "street level" heroes and villains and I've actually been quite successful in that endeavor in 2025 :). We'll see what the future holds because sometimes I still can't help grabbing awesome looking figures when I catch them in the wild. I'm sick I tell ya... SICK LOL!

Eh kind of. They released a few collections over the past year that has a lot of the games covered. They released the Marvel vs Capcom fighting collection and it has all of the old X-Men and Marvel fighting games as well as The Punisher arcade game. <div><br></div><div>I’ve been a fan of MvC since the DC days (and prior to that I loved the Marvel fighting games on Sega Saturn) and I think this collection is awesome. I’m in to retro gaming so I have these games on an emulation computer I set up, but the collection makes it really easy to play online. </div>

A few years back I remember trying to get the the MvC games through Playstation Network but I apparently missed the window because they were no longer available. I have to assume that's the case with all the old school Marvel beat-em-up and toe-to-toe fighting games.

The thing that makes the game so great is that it was, honestly, a little easy for a beat-em-up game. It was not a quarter-muncher. A new player without a lot of experience could easily make it all the way through the game on less than $5. You really did feel like the Punisher, and the only real threat to you was the bosses. Bosses in every beat-em-up are programmed to kill you unfairly. But there was only 6 bosses in the game, so it’s easy to let it go.
