About this Figure
Item Size: Approximately 9.5 inches Material: PVC From Square Enix! The one that started it all: The Original RoboCop. While staying true to the details of the original 1987 design, we have paid particular attention to a more modern appearance when recreating RoboCop in this action figure. We have implemented complex joints such as ball and swing joints in the shoulders to maximize the range of motion. RoboCop comes equipped with the Auto 9 to recreate his unique shooting pose, blue and purple accents in the paintwork reminiscent of the lighting in the film, and a bevy of accessories including the terminal strip and interchangeable parts to show his leg holster in its open and closed positions. Display stand included. Developed by OCP as a contingency against the ill-fated ED-209 project, RoboCop is capable of pulverizing even the worst criminal elements among the most depraved burrows of the chaos-laden Old Detroit. Unfortunately, RoboCop’s violent rivalry with reigning crime boss Clarence Boddicker places him in direct opposition of OCP Vice President Dick Jones, to whom Boddicker secretly answers. Though RoboCop succeeds in apprehending Boddicker, his subsequent attempt to arrest Dick Jones activates the debilitating Directive #4 which prevents RoboCop from acting against any senior executive of OCP. Vilifying RoboCop, Jones smugly unleashes ED-209 units against him, and later recruits Boddicker and his men, providing them with Cobra Assault Cannons, for the task of hunting and destroying RoboCop. Additional Details RoboCop RoboCop is a popular American media franchise that began with the 1987 RoboCop film directed by Paul Verhoeven. The film takes place in a futuristic Detroit where crime has taken over the city. Focusing on police officer Alex Murphy who is killed by a gnag of criminals and revived as the cyborg enforcer RoboCop. RoboCop recieved a number of sequel films after its commerically successful introduction and has since expanded into other media over the years.
