NO GAME NO LIFE ZERO SCHWI ARTFXJ STATUE

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Travel to a world of games and the distant past with the latest entry in Kotobukiya’s ARTFXJ Statue lineup (a bold expansion designed “to bring Japanese characters to their fans worldwide”). From the anime film spinoff No Game No Life: Zero comes the exiled “ex-machina” android who joins Riku on his quest through Disboard: SCHWI ! Because chess features so prominently in the world of No Game No Life , it’s perfect that Schwi is posed perched on the edge of a beautifully rendered game board, and she even holds a chess piece in her hand while others fall onto the ground around her. While she appears to be a young girl, the ex-machina reveals her robotic nature through an open section on her torso showing the mechanisms inside plus circuits on her arms, an exposed shoulder, plugs in her back, one protruding wing armature, and a disc-like hip. Meanwhile, Schwi sits in a very delicate and human-like pose, balancing over the board with one hand on it while she turns her head to look at you in wonder. The android’s colorful hair is reproduced in stunning definition as it swirls around her in rainbow hues, and clear plastic tips catch the light beautifully. Sculpted by Hirotoshi Nakamura, Schwi is over 6 ½ inches tall (1/7 scale) in her crouching pose mounted above a chess motif display base. Let the beautiful and mysterious ex-machina join your collection to learn about humanity! © YK,K/NGNL0P
