Kotobukiya’s latest addition to the ARTFXJ Statue lineup (a bold expansion designed “to bring Japanese characters to their fans worldwide”) whisks you away to the world of championship figure skating in Yuri!!! On Ice . In the series young Japanese and Russian men compete for both world titles and the attention of a former champion. It is that man, the dashing VICTOR NIKIFOROV , who takes the first prize in being the debut ARTFXJ statue from the series! A veteran of the sport at only age 27, the suave and confident Victor takes a seat on a bench while watching his student Yuri practice. The five-time Grand Prix Finals champion wears a sophisticated black suit with matching leather shoes, gray shirt, and black gloves with a removable black coat draped over his shoulders; in fact, this is the first time the character has been portrayed in such an outfit in statue form. With one leg crossed over the other Victor rests his left arm across his chest and holds up his right with his finger to his lips as he flashes his charismatic smile. The detailing in both sculpt and paint is exquisite down to subtle notes like the seams, buttons, and more of the champion’s clothing, his narrowed blue eyes, and the soft tendrils of his hair falling in front of his face. As a special bonus, both Victor and the included Makkachin doggy tissue box can be removed from the blue bench so you can customize your display exactly as you like.
