In the aftermath of the bloody defense of Terra and the subsequent placing of the Emperor upon his Throne, a sect of the Imperial Fists arose from the breaking of the Legions to become the Black Templars Chapter. Venerating the Emperor as a literal god, this Chapter of Brothers have assembled one of the largest battle fleets in the Imperium and launched a holy crusade to enforce the Emperor's will.
