Hailing from a volcanic and unstable world, the Salamanders Space Marine Chapter are regarded and hailed by the citizens of the Imperium for being true champions of the common man. Taking great care to defend civilians during their endless battles with the forces of Chaos, these "Dragon Warriors" are strong adherents to the Promethean Cult of Emperor worship. Do not assume, however, that their care for mortals masks for an inherent weakness; rather, it emboldens them to unleash fury and destruction that is as vicious and dangerous as the dragons who inhabit their homeworld. Inspired by his homeworld's forging traditions, Captain Adrax hefts his mighty warhammer into battle as easily as one carries a simple stick.
