Experts at breaking sieges and assaulting enemy fortifications, the Iron Warriors, led by the Primarch Perturabo, chose to ally with the Mad Warmaster during his heretical war-march towards Sol and the Emperor. Eternal rivals to the favorited Imperial Fists and seemingly overlooked at every turn despite their sacrifices, the vicious rage and jealously that burned within Perturabo erupted into an inferno that led his Iron Warriors to decimate and burn entire worlds. Prone to replacing their missing limbs and body parts with mechanical ones, the threat of an Iron Warriors siege is enough to keep entire systems in check...though the warriors themselves prefer defiance so they can release their extreme wrath. Experts in tactics and executing strategic objectives to break down even the hardiest of defenders, Sergeants in the Iron Warriors led their squads with precision and determination regardless of the cost.
