My biggest issue as a kid, other than the redesigns, was that TNBA put emphasis upon the Bat-Family. I always preferred Batman solo, but if you must, I want it to be Robin. Now, suddenly, Batgirl is in every episode, Robin is some snot-nosed kid I'd never heard of, and the Robin I knew was some emo loner, the way I wanted Batman to be. I hated it. I hated that they didn't outright explain why all this was changed at first (they do eventually); it all rubbed me the wrong way, so much so I stopped watching. <div><br></div><div>As I entered into high school, though, I picked my superhero love back up and familiarized myself more with comic lore. And, naturally, came to understand and appreciate TNBA more as a consequence. I do, to this day, still prefer Batman solo, but I appreciate the Bat-Family more in their own right now, and I came to learn about all the Robins and Grayson's transition into Nightwing. And I did enjoy Batgirl in BTAS, but she was limited to two episodes. That's it. And that was the right amount for me. </div><div><br></div><div>Overall, it all grew on me over time, though. And I came to really appreciate Batgirl more by proxy. The issue here is her huge noggin making her utterly top-heavy; all the females in this line are plagued by microscopic ankles. Basically, without stands, you're not going to ever get a simple woman figure to stand up on its own just due to the design choices. But she's a nice figure for what she's supposed to represent, but don't expect much beyond stoic poses; you're not getting anything dynamic out of these figures. </div>
