Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We collect information that you give us when you create an account, and information about how you use the site. We do not sell or rent that information to anyone. We do share a limited set of it with Meta for advertising measurement, which is described below.

We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. to ship an order.

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

Advertising and measurement

We advertise Legendsverse on Facebook and Instagram. To know which adverts bring collectors to the site, we send a small set of data to Meta Platforms, Inc. This is on by default when you use the site.

We send data for four things only: a page view, a completed registration, the start of a checkout, and a completed purchase. We do not send what you collect, what you add to a wishlist, or anything else you do inside the app.

The data we send is:

• Your email address, hashed. We never send the address itself.
• Meta's own cookie and click identifiers, if your browser carries them.
• Your IP address and your browser user agent.
• The page path you were on. We remove the query string.
• Your account identifier on this site.
• For a purchase, the amount, the currency, and the transaction reference from the payment provider.

The site has no switch to turn this off. We would rather say that plainly than point you at a control that does not exist. You have two real options. You can use the advert and tracking controls in your browser and on your device, and the advert preferences on your own Meta account. You can also write to us at [email protected] or through our contact page, and ask us to stop sending your data.

Two limits apply. Stopping future collection does not delete data that Meta already received. A send that is already in progress can finish.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
